Grand, Garish and Glitter Galore, Gloucestershire’s Music Festivals Return!

Gloucestershire isn’t called the festival county for nothing, and summer is when it comes alive. But with so much choice and such little time, how are you going to which one to visit? Well, Habitat have you covered! Here are our top three summer festivals happening this summer.


Wychwood Festival

When is it?

1st-3rd of June

Where?

Cheltenham Racecourse

Who’s Headlining?

Fabulous flamenco and pop group The Gipsy Kings as well as alternative rock band, Shed Seven.

Is there anyone else?

Others include Dick and Dom for the youngsters and stand-up shows with Tom Taylor and more.

Wow, so a real variety!

We aren’t done yet! Wychwood is also featuring multiple emerging artists from BBC Introducing such as Soeur and Vonhorn as well as local talent from the University of Gloucestershire also taking to the stage.

What’s the living situation like?

Their site accommodates caravan’s, campervans and camping, but if you fancy a more luxurious experience, tipis and yurts are available.

How much are tickets?

Prices vary from £47 to £147 depending upon the ticket.

Barn On The Farm has lined up some incredible acts this year such as Radio 1 regulars Mystery Jets, Fickle Friends, Lewis Watson and Nina Nesbitt (we told you they were good!)

How’s the living situation? Any yurts on offer?

Unfortunately, yurts aren’t an option, but camping space and Campervan slots are available.

Upcote Farm, Cheltenham

Who’s Headlining?

Award-winning Enter Shikari, American post-hardcore band At the Drive in as well as Scottish Rock band Twin Atlantic.

Are there actually 2000trees?

Unfortunately not, 2000 is a bit of a reach but there certainly are a lot!

What’s the living situation?

Camping sites are available as well as spaces for campervans.

How much are tickets?

Prices range from £60 to £185.
