February and March have been months that were spent selectively listening to a few specific artists. First up we have Las Vegas pop-rock band (and also my favourite band ever) Imagine Dragons. If you didn't already see it plastered all over my social media, I went to go see them in Birmingham on their Evolve Tour. Subsequently, this meant listening to their songs on repeat building up to the concert, and also listening to their songs on repeat after the concert. A few favourites are I Don't Know Why, Yesterday and of course Whatever It Takes.
Second to the stand is George Ezra. Since the release of his latest album, Staying At Tamara's, which is one of his better albums, I have been obsessed and would love to see him live at some point. However, I have a feeling these songs are going to be made right at home on the radio, which inevitablly will lead to their downfall, unfortunately.
Third is Rex Orange County. Ahhh yes, my favourite genre-blending guy. I have to own my discovery of him to a review I wrote for Farid, and I fell in love (clique I know), but if you get the chance please do listen to the album. It's the perfect companion for a chill evening!
